Aloha! I'm feeling super chipper today and I'm very grateful for that! I've had quite a wonderful week and I hope you have as well! <3 The absolute highlight of the week had to be getting my driver's license finally!!! This is a huge deal for me because I'm about seven years late on getting my license, so to finally have it after all of the procrastination and fear is amazing. My family and friends, I'm sure, are super stoked because they won't have to drive me around anymore. LOL But in all seriousness, they are all very proud of me. :)
I have a bit of an announcement about my little blog here. This will be the last post for a little while (I know, shock horror, I'm taking another blog break, who would've guessed? LOL). I started blogging again wanting to be consistent and organized about it and I've somewhat achieved that, but I'm not feeling very passionate about what I write about. I want to continue blogging, but I want to be proud of what I write and put out into the world. I'll be taking a little break just to regroup and figure out what I really want to do with my little corner of the internet. While I'm away, check out my very good and talented friend, Nala's blog! I have two songs for you ET today. The first song is Holding Out For a Hero by Ella Mae Bowen and I first heard it when the remake of Footloose came out a few years ago. I remember I would play it constantly when I would go for walks or bike rides in the middle of the night, thinking of the one I loved at the time. It's such a beautiful song, both lyrically and melodically. I remembered it a few days ago and I haven't stopped playing it since. I love this song so much and honestly, it brings back so many memories, it can bring me close to tears and I love songs like that. I love songs that can evoke so much emotion in a person. Check it out believe and feel the feels. <3
The second song I have for you is the newest song, Falling Apart by a wonderful YouTube musician, Trisha Writes Music. Her lyrics are so honest and I think it is extremely brave to put your heart and soul into a song and then put it out there to help people. She is an amazing girl, I have spoken to her several times and I know that she means every word in her songs. Falling Apart made me cry because it's so real and it's a song of hope, a reminder that things do get better. I love Trisha and her music and I can't wait to see how she continues to grow as a person and musician. <3
There is one YouTuber I have been watching non-stop this past week and maybe even the week before and it is none other than the beautiful Kathleen Lights. I'm sure most of you know who she is, but for those of you that don't, she is this gorgeous, bubbly, little Latina beauty guru. She does everything from gorgeous tutorials to product reviews and favorites! My personal favorite videos from her are any of the videos where she talks about products that she loves meaning haul videos and favorites videos. She's so descriptive and brutally honest about each product and watching her videos has completely made me want to buy a million different products.
That leads me into my next entertainment piece: Pinterest. Because there were so, so many products I wanted to get because of Kathleen, I made a board on my Pinterest profile for all of the makeup and fashion things I'm lusting after. I've been pinning things left and right and I'm just loving the website all over again.
One last thing about Kathleen; her Kat Chats videos are so entertaining! They're basically story time videos and boy, does she have some funny stories! Her most recent Kat Chats about awkward boy stories had me rolling around my bed, laughing out loud! I highly recommend checking out her channel if you haven't already!

For today's ET, I've got three online forms of entertainment for you. From FBI agents to makeup and lifestyle gurus, there's something bound to please you in here!
1. ViviannaDoesMakeup - Anna Gardner of ViviannaDoesMakeup (the name of her YouTube channel and blog) has stolen my heart! I've been subscribed to her channel for almost two years, after finding her best friend, Lily Pebbles (another fav blogger and vlogger). Originally, I was constantly watching the duo's Beauty Chat videos and then I started to watch the two independently of each other. I love, love, love Lily, but lately Anna's channel has been running non stop on my phone! She has such a chilled out, yet bubbly vibe to her and beauty recommendations are always being added to my "Must Treat Myself To" list. What has really attracted me to her channel recently, though, is her lifestyle videos! She has posted fitness hauls, food how to's and tips, but most watched by myself is her weekday morning routine video! I've watched that video at least once a day (a bit creepy? Perhaps) and I've been running my morning routine similarly to hers ever since it was posted. I start with faffing around on my phone, then mapping out my day, and then breakfast and I just find that I feel more organized this way. A major plus is that this routine forces me to eat breakfast which is something I never used to do! Cheers Anna, for your amazing beauty and lifestyle tips and tricks!
2. Criminal Minds - This show is not always for the faint of heart. It centers around an FBI team called the Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia. This team travels all around the US finding and stopping serial killers based on their pychopathology. I've been watching Criminal Minds for so, so many years and it's a favorite of not only myself, but my mom as well, so it's quite a nice bonding experience for us to binge watch it together. We went so far as to by seasons 1-8 before it found its way to Netflix. The thing I love about the show is its focus on the psychology of killers; why they are the way they are. The suspense factor has somewhat gone for me as I mostly watch re-runs, but during the new episodes that I've not seen yet, I still sit on the edge of my seat...or at least laying down on the couch with one jittery leg. Each member of the team over the years has brought something special to the show and the dynamic of the team is so important in the way that they work as a family, just as much as a team unit. I'll be honest, the current season's team isn't my favorite line up, but it's still a great show to watch and most of the amazing original characters (including the handsome and brilliant Dr. Spencer Reid) are still on there. They're currently in season 11 on CBS.
3.Rhett and Link's Good Mythical Morning - GMM is a morning show on YouTube run by two best friends, Rhett and Link. Their videos are quite different than most of what I watch on YouTube and I enjoy that GMM is sort of my version of the morning news when I wake up. They do everything from guessing bizarre mating rituals to eating disgusting things blindfolded and I just find it extremely entertaining. They have a comedic timing very different from that of some of the most popular YouTubers today and that's honestly one of the best things about their show!
a. I'd also like to sneak in a cheeky extra, Rhett and Links podcast Ear Biscuits! It's such a great podcast where they interview different entertainers and ask the serious questions, yet still maintain a relaxed, comedic vibe. It's great to listen to any time you're on the go!
As some of you may know, I have a YouTube channel and every now and again among all my daily vlogs, I will upload a long chatty video about a serious topic. A few days ago, I posted a video about my obesity. If you'd like to know more about that click here. :) I received the loveliest comment from one of my subscribers and it was just a beautiful reminder that you can find kindness in strangers. Hello, hello, hello! Here I am on our second Sunday night post (which is technically Monday morning since it is currently 1 am, but let's just ignore that detail :P) and honestly, I'm at a loss for words. I haven't done much at all since I last spoke to all of you; I mainly just stayed home. Ooo! I did go to me friend, Kyle's, rap show this past Wednesday! Kyle is my friend who was on leave from the army last year that some of you may remember me mentioning, but he was back again and back at his rap game so I went to see him. He was awesome and even better than last time, I must say! If you'd like to check out his music, check him out on his Soundcloud page! It was a fun little night, Dalton was there and a few people from back in my high school days and I also made some new friends that night! Now, whether or not said friends are going to be good influences on me is yet to be decided, but the point is I made new friends! Lol I've become such a homebody/anti-social hermit ever since I got clean last year that being in a big crowd around people that I don't know at all really gets my anxiety going. The night went well, though, all things considered. Also, Dalton came and hung out for a few days which was really nice. A little thing happened involving him that upset me the night of Kyle's show, so it was good to see him and remind myself why I love him so much...only joking, I always love him no matter what happens! We did have a lot of fun together, I must say, and we actually FINALLY filmed a proper video together and it will be going up on my channel this Wednesday! Like I said, I mainly stayed home and this is because I only worked ONE DAY last week. ONE DAY! I need more hours than that! :( Ugh, so frustrating. I'm actually going to be applying for a second job tomorrow and doing many other things. A lot of life changes ahead this year. Some things will take longer than others, but I'm pretty dang positive that by this time next year, my life will have gone through some big changes. I will be happy to share those changes with all of you as they come and I hope you all have a beautiful week!

Hellobeautiful people! I've finally uploaded my Black Friday haul to my YouTube channel! I recorded it a few days ago now and after posting a few videos, I've realized having a YouTube channel is kind of time consuming actually! So this was a bit weird to make. Lol It was fun, don't get me wrong! It's just weird recording something like this and posting it. I started making videos when I was about 16, but I just kept them for myself as a personal video journal and as of late, I've wanted to venture into making YouTube videos maybe. I'm not too sure what kind of videos I'll be making, but I thought this was a good place to start, as it may help introduce me a bit. I know that if I receive any feedback at all, it won't all be good, but honestly, just like all the other videos I've made in the past several years, these are for me and my friends simply because I like making them and if anyone else happens to enjoy them, awesome. :)
