1 Year Anniversary and Swatches on Swatches on Swatches!

Hello! So the 13th was my 1 year anniversary of this blog! I would just like to say thank you to all of you for sticking with me this long and putting up with my ramblings and my hiatuses. :P I'm hoping to work much harder on this blog for its second year and I hope you'll all stay for the ride!

Now, the rest of this post is not going to be anything special about the year, but the other night I went a bit swatch crazy with all the make up in my "most used make up" make up bag and decided to take pictures of all of them so that I would remember exactly what everything looks like on. I used my iPhone as I didn't think this would go anywhere, but I decided to post it all up because I'd rather not have a bunch of swatches taking up space on my laptop. Please forgive the quality, but these pictures are more of a reminder for me than anything else. Lol

The Perfect Pair | 2014 Blogger Challenge

Hello lovelies! I do apologize for this past Sunday's post or lack there of, I should say. Things have calmed down a bit since then and I'm on the straight and narrow again...trying to be anyway, trying very hard. Enough rambling, for Topic 15, we were to come up with the perfect pair which could be anything. I found it quite difficult until it hit me! My MAC Mineral Moisture SPF 15 Foundation and my Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer are a match made in heaven!

If any of you have seen my May monthly favorites on my YouTube channel, then you'll already know a bit about these products. When I first used this MAC foundation, I found it to be far too dewy (nearing sweaty territory) for my liking, however I carried on because I was not going to let this be a waste. Seeing as I love Rimmel's foundations, I thought I'd give their primer ago and it seriously made the biggest difference my  foundation finish and lasting power! The foundation paired with the primer creates a perfectly natural and slightly dewy finish and lasts relatively well throughout the whole day!

The foundation is a slightly runny consistency and is light to medium coverage. I use the shade NC35. I've almost used up all of this foundation and I'll admit, though I'm sad to see it go, I'm quite excited to try something new. This was a good foundation, but I wasn't in love with it, especially on it's own.

The primer is perfection! No pun intended. It's a creamy consistency colored a light orange but blends out colorless. It makes my makeup last longer, it feels nice and smooth on the skin, it doesn't break me out or make me overly dry or greasy, it's just absolutely amazing. I have nothing bad to say about this product and I'd quite like to try the "Pro" version that Rimmel also offers. :)

That's all for now! Be mindful and happy, my lovelies! Xx

Just a Few Bits and Bobs

Hello lovelies! I got some new items since the new year (as recently as last week ;)) and I'm very excited about them, so I thought I would share!

Some of the candles pictured above have been in my possession since December, but a few of them are new as well. I purchased a 3-wick Dolce candle and a small Flannel candle from Bath and Body Works and from TJMaxx, I got a Tangerine and Thyme candle (which smells absolutely gorgeous!) who's brand I'm not too sure of, an Everyday Luxe candle in Spiced Licorice, and below is another Everyday Luxe candle in Lemon Madeleines.

H&M Lipstick in Love That Red
Paris Hilton by Paris Hilton perfume
Ciate Very Colourfoil Manicure
Ciate paint pot in Cream Soda with "Flirt" foil over top.
H&M...things. Lol Honestly, I'm not too sure what these are; when they were in the packaging, I thought they were hair elastics that double as bracelets, but they're actually not elasticated. Anyone know what exactly these are?
H&M ring

(All items from H&M were on offer for buy 2 get 1 free and the ring above was only $1 as it were!)
TJMaxx
These are my first pair of brogues and I love them!
When I spotted this at the store, I had to snatch one up! I've been waiting for the Rimmel Show Off lip lacquers (which in the UK are called Rimmel Apocolips) to come around for ages! This is is in the shade Comet.
I'm absolutely in love with these lip lacquers! They consistency is so smooth and non-sticky and they are so, so pigmented! I will definitely be purchasing a few more shades. :)
Well, that is all I have for you today, hope you enjoyed! Have a beautiful day everyone! Xx
